About Us

Picture
My name is Geno Middleton; my wife Barb and I own a horse
farm in Pomona, MO, where I raise and train Missouri Fox Trotters.
We currently stand The  Cardinal M., the sire of the 2004 Senior World Grand Champion and Royal Ace M.,  the sire of the 2005 Senior World Grand Champion.  We have several brood mares, prospects, and customer horses at our stables.
We have three children, Wesley, Madison and Dusty.

Although I have spent time in Oklahoma training cutting horses, I moved back to Missouri to continue my career with gaited horses. I conduct numerous horse-training clinics in many different states, and have a training video that will soon be available to purchase. I am proudly sponsored by Manna Pro. Please visit http://www.mannapro.com to learn more about their great products.

My History

Picture
I currently train Missouri Fox Trotting horses professionally and have trained
horses all of my life.  I started training for the public when I was nine years old.
I am a third generation horse trainer.
My grandfather, Quentin Middleton started training in 1961 and trained
successfully and professionally until he passed away in November of 2005.  He
won the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association Celebration (MFTHBA)
World Grand Championship in 1976.  He was a great horseman and a mentor for my
father,  Jerry Middleton, as well as for me.
My family has been very fortunate, between the three of us (Quentin, Jerry and myself)
we have won the MFTHBA Celebration Senior World Grand Championship 17 times.
(Quentin Middleton 1 time, Jerry  Middleton 8 times.)

Here are some of the titles I have won:

* The MFTHBA Celebration Senior World Grand Championship 8 times.

* The Two Year Old Futurity 13 times.

*The Two Year Old Breeder’s Cup, which is the $100,000 showcase for the  Fox Trotting Horse Breeds’ 2 Year olds, three
   times and Reserve twice.

*The MFTHBA Three Year Old Futurity 3 times and 1 time Reserve.

*The Mid-America Fall Show Senior Championship Class 8 times.

*Numerous Two, Three and Four Year Old World Grand Champions at the  MFTHBA Celebration.

*I won my first Two Year Old Futurity when I was 15 years old and my first Senior World Grand Championship when I was 18 years old.

*The Youth World Grand Championship 2 times at the ages of 12 and 14.
